LUFC Announces 3 more Roster Updates

Lane United FC announces three more additions to this season’s roster, Rolando Velazquez, Brannon Romac, and Anthony Armenta.

Velazquez is a returning Red who comes to LUFC from Corban University where he helped them achieve the most historically successful season in Warrior history. Velazquez started in 21 games, scoring 9 goals with 7 assists in his senior year. During his first season with LUFC he played in three games and was an integral part of the creativity that coach John Galas was trying to instill in the LUFC style of play.

Romac comes to Lane United FC having last played at Concordia University where he missed one game as a senior while making starts in all other 16 contests. He scored one goal and tied for second on the team with three assists. Logged 1,410 total minutes on the field, good for second on the team. He transferred to Concordia University after his sophomore year from Shasta College where he earned Offensive MVP honors as a sophomore and picked up all-section honors both seasons at Shasta.

Armenta is a goal keeper who will play at Lane Community College. He comes from Clackamas High School where he graduated in 2015. In Clackamas High School’s state championship effort, Armenta won goalkeeper of the year in 2015. He recently signed his letter of intent to attend Lane Community College this year as a part of the Northwest Athletic Conference.
