Lane United FC will play its home games through the 2018 season on the eastern turf field at the Les Schwab Sports Park on 32nd St. in Springfield. This venue, different from the field the Reds played on last year, was chosen because the turf is a better playing surface for the players. We also made some large capital investments in a grand stand bleachers that will be installed for our league home opener May 20.
The Les Schwab Sports Park’s turf field measures 120×70 yards and does not include lines for any other sports. Seating capacity is for 1,000 spectators.
Lane United plans to move to the newly-built Civic Park at the former Civic Stadium site once construction is completed. This will be LUFC’s permanent home and will host all Lane United home games. For more information on Civic Park, visit Eugene Civic Alliance’s website.
